“Nick was my personal trainer for more than three years at Rutgers, and it has been a transformative experience for me. When I started working with Nick, I could barely do a complete pushup. Nowadays, I perform multiple sets of 20 pushups each as part of my everyday routine. He was a trainer who always knew what he was doing; he was great at personalizing the standard workout routines for me so that I can benefit the most from each routine. Moreover, he was pretty amazing at closely monitoring the verbal and non-verbal cues to tune the intensity of my workout sessions. On my not so best days, he may take it easy, but on other days, he would make sure that I go the extra mile and achieve my maximum potential. In this process, he would often break my mental barriers of physical performance and make the impossible look possible. Also, in between our workout sessions, he would make the extra effort of talking about nutrition and other lifestyle habits that may help me achieve my training goals. His very positive mindset and conversations helped me gradually develop healthier eating and sleeping habits. By gradually addressing my sleeping pattern, I was not only able to get better workouts, but I was able to improve my performance at work as well. It won’t be an exaggeration at all to say that Nick had a very positive impact on my life in general. His positive mindset, professionalism, and strong work ethic truly set him apart from other personal trainers at Rutgers, and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for personal training. His absence is certainly going to be felt at Rutgers!”
